On March 11, Hawks center Miles Plumlee suffered a left knee injury during a practice.

The six-year pro from Duke University underwent a medical examination and MRI (magnetic Resonance Imaging) on March 25, which displayed a cartilage injury in his left knee.

He was recovering from a non-surgical procedure on Jan. 7.

Plumlee’s arthroscopic surgery is scheduled for April 2. He is expected to miss the rest of the 2019 season.

He played in 18 games this season, averaging 4.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.

Plumlee is slated to return for training camp.
