Shaq and Kobe, Jordan and Pippen, Lebron and DWade, Splash brothers, Ike and Tina. I know the last one was pushing just a little and I’m not trying to hit anyone but like the others these were some great duos.
With a great core around them they won championships. I heard that Trae Young is getting frustrated because of the team not producing in the final quarters.
It’s simple to me they need John Collins back. When the season started the whole team was based on our dynamic duo Trae and John. We saw how the two were so good in the second half of the season last year.
Collins is 6’9 and his wingspan is 6’11 and can guard two positions Power Forward and the Center position. We know about his offensive game but he was becoming a great defensive player also this season.
I know he made a mistake and is paying for it with the 25 day suspension. Collins will be back in the lineup on December 23, he was having another strong start with 17 points per game, 8.8 rebounds, and 2 blocks in five appearances before the suspension. Keep in mind we still have a very young team and those two were our nucleus.
All the pieces are there we just need that piece of the puzzle back. If you been looking at the team in the first three quarters we are in the game when the last quarter at this time we can’t close out with the win. We can’t because that’s the time we need our dynamic duo to take over the game.
I don’t have his money but I know he’s ready to return one that’s his job and he loves the Hawks, the city, and his teammates and lastly it’s costing him $610,582.00 so I know he’s ready to come back. Well there is still some news from the front office they are looking for a trade to help out the team. They know Trae is frustrated and hear his cries and they are working on getting him and the team some help.
Can’t wait for December 23 and the help for our plummeting Atlanta Hawks. I still believe we can get to the playoffs when we get these pieces back to our young team. FILA(Forever I Love Atlanta) ❤️❤️❤️
